Applying at EMMA — FAQs

Do I need construction industry experience to apply?
For sales and technical roles it helps, but we hire from adjacent industries too — paints, hardware, cement and building materials retail. For junior roles, attitude and local market knowledge matter more than a specific background.
Where are the roles based?
Guwahati primarily, with field roles covering Assam and the wider Northeast. Plant roles are at Changsari, Kamrup.
What file formats can I attach?
PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 5 MB. If the upload fails, email the CV to our team directly and mention the role.
How long does the hiring process take?
We review applications weekly. If your profile fits an open role you will hear from us within two weeks, usually for a phone call first, then a meeting at the office.
Is there training for someone new to construction chemicals?
Yes. Product and application training is part of joining — you need to be able to answer a technical question on site, not only quote a price.
Can I apply if no role matches my profile?
Yes. Choose “Open application” in the form and tell us what you do. We keep good profiles on file and call when something opens up.
