Product FAQs

Questions about Maxi Plus White T1

Why use a white adhesive instead of grey?
White cement prevents staining and shadowing through light-coloured, translucent and white material. Grey adhesive can darken marble, quartz and glass mosaic — sometimes immediately, more often over the weeks after laying.
What size tiles suit Maxi Plus White T1?
Small-sized light-coloured tiles and stones, on interior and exterior walls and floors, including wet areas. For medium tiles and marble, move to T2.
Is it suitable for wet areas?
Yes — wet areas, vertical and horizontal surfaces. It is sag resistant, so wall tiles stay where you set them.
How long should I cure before traffic?
24 to 72 hours depending on how heavily the area will be used. Grout after 24 hours and keep the area protected until then.
Does white adhesive bond as well as grey?
Bond strength comes from the type — T1, T2 or T3 — not from the colour. A white T1 and a grey T1 are the same class of adhesive; the white one simply keeps light material looking right.
Can I use leftover white adhesive for ordinary floor tiles?
Yes, there is no harm in it — white adhesive works on ordinary tiles. It is just more expensive than the grey grade the job needs.
