Quality you can specify, verify and defend
All EMMA products comply with BIS standards, ensuring quality, reliability and safety in every application. Here is exactly which standard applies to which product — and what we control in between.
| Product category | Standard |
|---|---|
| Tile Adhesives Available in Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 to meet varied application requirements and performance levels. | IS 15477:2019 |
| White Tile Adhesive Compliant with IS 15477 and enhanced with polymers for superior whiteness, strength and bonding. | IS 15477 |
| AAC Block Joining Mortar Thin-bed mortar conforming to IS 2250 and ASTM standards for consistent bonding and efficient masonry work. | IS 2250 · ASTM C1660/C270 |
| Masonry Application Ensures proper application practices for long-term structural integrity. | IS 6041:1985 |
| Wall Putty (cement-based) Developed in accordance with BIS and ASTM standards for a smooth and durable surface finish. | IS 17545:2021 |
What consistency actually requires
A bag that behaves differently from the last one is a site problem. These are the controls that stop that happening.
Raw material control
Cement, graded silica and polymers are checked on intake, so the inputs stay to the same specification batch after batch.
Controlled blending
Factory blending keeps the polymer-to-binder ratio exact. That ratio is why nothing should be added on site — no cement, no sand, no admixtures.
Batch testing
Tensile adhesion, open time and workability are verified against the applicable IS classification before a batch is released.
Built for this climate
Formulations chosen for Northeast conditions — heavy monsoon, sustained humidity and wide temperature swings across the year.
Packed and dated
Every bag carries its net quantity and manufacturing date. Shelf life is six months from manufacture when stored dry, off the floor.
Technical support
Specification help before the job and application guidance during it. Ask for the technical data sheet for any grade and we will send it.
200 tonnes in each product range
Production depth matters when a project needs the same batch quality from podium to top floor. EMMA maintains 200 tonnes of production across each range, so project quantities can be planned without substituting grades mid-job.
