1. About this policy

EMMA is operated by Maria Enterpriises on behalf of products manufactured by Tyara Industries and Maria Global Industries. This policy explains what personal information emmaworld.in (the “Website”) collects, why we collect it, how we protect it and what choices you have.

It applies to the Website only. Information you share in person, on a call, over WhatsApp or through a dealer is handled under the same principles but is not covered by this page.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us.

• Enquiry form: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, city or project location, buyer type, purpose of the enquiry, and — for trade buyers — company or firm name, GST number, project name and approximate area. Plus the product, quantity, timeline, surface details and message you choose to send.
• Feedback form: name, phone or email, buyer type, product used, star rating, your feedback and, optionally, the project or site.
• Careers form: name, phone, email, city, role applied for, experience, industry, availability, the CV file you attach and any covering note.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools may record browser and device type, approximate city-level location, referring page, pages visited and time spent. This is used in aggregate to improve the Website.

What we never collect here. The Website takes no payments, so we do not collect card, bank or UPI details. We do not ask for identity documents, and you should not send them through these forms.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

• To answer your enquiry and send prices, availability, technical advice or a Technical Data Sheet — because you asked us to.
• To route your enquiry to the right dealer, distributor or sales representative for your area.
• To assess a job application and contact you about current or future openings.
• To investigate and resolve a product issue you report, including batch tracing.
• To improve our products, articles and service based on feedback.
• To send product updates or offers — only where you have agreed to be contacted that way.
• To keep the Website secure, prevent spam and misuse, and meet legal or tax obligations.

4. How long we keep it

• Enquiries and feedback: up to three years from your last contact with us, so we have context if you come back or if a site issue surfaces later.
• CVs and job applications: up to one year, unless you ask us to remove them sooner or you join us.
• Records needed for tax, accounting or legal reasons: for the period the law requires.
• Analytics data: in aggregated form, with no attempt to identify individual visitors.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

• Within our group: between EMMA, Maria Enterpriises, Tyara Industries and Maria Global Industries, where needed to answer you.
• Authorised dealers and distributors: only the details needed to serve your enquiry in your area.
• Service providers: our hosting provider and email and analytics services, which process data on our instructions.
• Legal: where disclosure is required by law, a court, or a government authority, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. How we protect it

• The Website is served over HTTPS, so form submissions are encrypted in transit.
• Submissions are delivered to EMMA mailboxes and are accessible only to authorised staff who need them to respond.
• CV attachments are limited to document formats and a maximum file size, and are stored only as long as recruitment requires.
• A spam trap and validation checks reduce automated and fraudulent submissions.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

7. Cookies, analytics and embedded services

The Website may use cookies and similar technologies, including through Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site and to remember basic preferences. No advertising profile is built from this.

Some pages embed or link to third-party services — Google Maps on the contact page, WhatsApp click-to-chat, and our social media profiles. Those services may set their own cookies and are governed by their own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Website may then work less smoothly.

8. Your rights and choices

• Access: ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct anything inaccurate or out of date.
• Deletion: ask us to delete your information, including a CV, where we have no legal reason to keep it.
• Opt out: ask us to stop sending product updates, at any time, by email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it without affecting what was done before.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.

9. Children

The Website is intended for business and construction-industry use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in how we work or in the law. The current version and its date are shown on this page. Material changes will be highlighted here.
